Privacy by Design
Locikit is built on the principle of zero-knowledge architecture.
At Locikit Studio, privacy is not a "feature"—it is a fundamental right. The apps are designed from the ground up to function entirely on the user's device, ensuring that intimate data never leaves the user's possession.
1. Data Collection
Locikit does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, health records, or cycle logs to any external servers.
Locikit apps do not require user accounts, email addresses, or phone numbers to function. Any information input into the applications (such as health data in MedVault, cycle logs in Luna AI, or hydration records in Aura Water) is stored exclusively in a secure, encrypted sandbox on the physical device.
2. Local AI & Processing
The intelligence powering Luna AI is entirely local. We utilize localized Large Language Models (LLMs) that process all data on your phone's NPU (Neural Processing Unit) or GPU.
Your patterns, questions, and insights are never uploaded to a cloud service for processing. This ensures that even the AI helping you understand your health has zero visibility into your data outside of your device.
3. Permissions
Our apps request only the permissions strictly necessary for on-device functionality:
- Storage/Files: Used to store your encrypted local database and export reports (e.g., MedVault).
- Notifications: Used for local reminders (e.g., Aura Water, RebootMate).
- Camera: Used only if an app requires scanning functionality.
We never request internet permissions unless a specific feature (like a manual backup to your own cloud storage) explicitly requires it.
4. Third Parties
Zero data is shared with third-party advertisers or analytics providers.
Locikit does not use third-party tracking SDKs (like Facebook or Google Analytics). No data is sold because the studio never has access to it in the first place.
5. Data Deletion
Since all data is stored locally, the user has total control. Deleting the app from the device immediately and permanently removes all associated data. The studio cannot "recover" data because it never had it.
